All current daycare days, times, and availability are listed in the Daycare section of our website.

Please refer there for the most up-to-date information.

Does my dog need to be neutered?

Yes.

All dogs must be neutered from 6 months of age to attend daycare.

Can I just drop my dog off?

No.

Daycare is membership-based only and all dogs must complete a daycare assessment before joining.

We do not accept walk-ins.

Do you accept food on-site?

No.

We do not accept food on-site for daycare dogs.

All meals should be given at home before or after daycare.

Do you send photos or updates during the day?

We do not send individual updates.

However, we regularly post daycare updates on Instagram and Facebook Stories, where you can see what the dogs have been up to.

Can puppies attend daycare?

Yes, once:

  • they have completed a daycare assessment

  • they are fully vaccinated

Puppies must be neutered from 6 months of age to remain in the programme.

Do you accept reactive or nervous dogs?

Each dog is assessed individually.

If a dog is not comfortable or suitable for a group environment, we will advise you honestly and recommend appropriate next steps.

Do you offer overnight boarding?

We do not provide overnight boarding or overnight care.

All dogs must be collected the same day.

How do daycare payments work?

GROOMING FAQ

The Scrub Club @ Lee Dog Training

Who can book grooming?

Grooming is open to everyone, not just daycare clients.

How do I book a groom?

All grooming starts with an online grooming intake form.

Once submitted, our groomer will review the details and be in touch to arrange the next step.

Do you take non-daycare dogs for grooming?

Yes.

Daycare membership is not required for grooming.

Do you shave double-coated dogs?

No.

We do not shave double-coated breeds such as Golden Retrievers, Huskies, German Shepherds, or Collies.

Shaving these coats can:

  • permanently damage coat growth

  • increase risk of overheating and sunburn

  • cause long-term skin and coat issues

We use appropriate deshedding and coat-care techniques instead.

TRAINING FAQ

Do I need an assessment before training?

Yes.

All new training clients begin with an assessment, which ensures the most appropriate and effective training plan. Unless you choose online training, this can be purchased directly without an assessment.

What assessment options are available?

We offer three assessment options:

  • Written Online Assessment

  • Online Assessment with Personal Video Review

  • In-Person Assessment

Each option is designed for different needs and preferences.

You can choose the option that suits you best.

How long is an in-person assessment?

In-person assessments are 45 minutes.

Can I book one-to-one training without an assessment?

No.

An assessment is required for all new one-to-one training clients.

Do you offer group classes?

Yes.

We run puppy and adolescent group classes.

Spaces are limited and must be booked online in advance.

Do you work with behavioural issues?

Yes.

We work with a wide range of issues — from everyday training struggles to more complex behavioural concerns.

For safety-sensitive or severe cases, an in-person assessment is always recommended.

Do you offer online training?

Yes.

We offer structured online training through Easy Dog Training, including:

  • self-paced courses

  • clear, practical guidance

  • training that can be followed from home

Online training can be purchased with or without an assessment, depending on your needs.
