Group Dog Training Classes in Midleton, Cork

All classes at Lee Dog Training are age-specific, ensuring the right learning environment for every dog. Please choose carefully — puppy and adolescent classes are not interchangeable.

Puppy Training Classes (Approx. 3–6 Months)

Our puppy training classes in Cork focus on building the foundations that prevent behaviour problems later on. This stage is about structure, calmness, and teaching your puppy how to live properly in a human world.

We cover:

  • Toilet training routines and accident prevention
  • Managing biting, nipping, and mouthing
  • Calm behaviour and confidence building
  • Name response, focus, and engagement
  • Safe, age-appropriate social exposure

Puppy class times:

  • Saturday: 10:00am – 11:00am
  • Tuesday: 7:00pm – 8:00pm

Adolescent Dog Training Classes (Approx. 5 Months+)

The adolescent stage is where many dogs start to test boundaries, ignore cues, and lose focus. Our adolescent dog training classes in Cork focus on rebuilding control, reliability, and calm behaviour around distractions.

We work on:

  • Loose lead walking and calm handling
  • Recall foundations
  • Stay / wait and impulse control
  • Reducing jumping, barking, and over-excitement
  • Building focus around other dogs and people

Adolescent class times:

  • Saturday: 11:00am – 12:00pm

Do I Need an Assessment Before Group Training?

For general puppy and adolescent training, an assessment is not required for dogs under 6 months.

If you are dealing with more specific concerns such as:

  • Anxiety or fearfulness
  • Reactivity around dogs or people
  • Resource guarding
  • Biting or safety-related behaviour

We strongly recommend starting with a Training Assessment & Action Plan so we can guide you toward the safest and most effective approach.
