What Is It?

Our adolescent dog training classes are designed to help owners navigate this challenging stage, when dogs start testing boundaries and habits (good or bad) become established.

With expert guidance, you’ll strengthen your bond, improve communication, and set your dog up for long-term success.

When Does It Run?

Thursdays

Time: 7pm – 8pm

Duration: 4 x 1-hour sessions

How Much Does It Cost?

€180.00 for the full 4-week course.

Includes personalised feedback during each class and ongoing support between sessions.

Who Is It For?

Perfect for:

  • Dogs aged 5 months to approx. 12 months

  • Puppies who missed early training and need a strong foundation

  • Owners dealing with new or challenging behaviours

  • Dogs who can safely socialise and play off-lead in a group environment

What Will We Cover?

  • Crate Training – creating a safe, calm space for your dog

  • Reading Behaviour – understanding canine body language and signals

  • Addressing Unwanted Behaviours – jumping, nipping, barking

  • Lead Training – walking calmly without pulling

  • Reliable Recall – coming back even with distractions

  • Dealing with all other training issues

Important Notes

  • Dogs must be able to play safely off-lead with others to join this group class.

  • If your dog is in season, they cannot attend but you are welcome to join without them to keep up with the training.

  • If your dog struggles with reactivity or aggression, a private initial assessment is recommended instead.

Why This Stage Matters

Adolescence is a critical period where habits form fast. With the right structure, you can prevent unwanted behaviours and build a dog who listens, focuses, and thrives in the real world.

Our Approach
