Dog & Puppy Training in Midleton, Cork
Clear, Structured Dog Training That Works in the Real World
Welcome to Lee Dog Training, based in Midleton, Cork.
We provide practical, results-focused dog training for puppies, adolescent dogs and adult dogs, helping owners build calm, reliable behaviour at home and in everyday life.
Whether you're dealing with lead pulling, reactivity, barking, jumping up, puppy biting or simply want a better relationship with your dog, our goal is always the same:
To teach you how to build the dog you want.
No gimmicks.
No rushed fixes.
Just a simple system that works.
Lee's Plan
Every dog is different.
Every owner is different.
Every home is different.
That's why there is no one-size-fits-all approach.
Training at Lee Dog Training always begins with an In-Person Training Assessment.
From there, I'll build Lee's Plan—a clear, structured plan designed specifically for you and your dog.
Lee's Plan focuses on four simple principles:
Understand the Behaviour
We'll identify what's driving the behaviour rather than simply trying to stop it.
Build Strong Foundations
Every exercise builds on the last, creating reliable behaviours before introducing distractions.
Teach the Owner
Dogs spend around one hour each week with a trainer.
They spend the other 167 hours with you.
That's why I teach owners how to continue training successfully at home.
Progress at the Right Pace
Every dog learns differently.
We'll move at a pace that gives you and your dog the greatest chance of long-term success.
How Training Works
Every private training programme begins with a 30-minute In-Person Training Assessment.
During your assessment we will:
-
Discuss your dog's history.
-
Identify the behaviours you'd like to improve.
-
Assess your dog's temperament and learning style.
-
Explain the training process.
-
Build Lee's Plan for you and your dog.
-
Recommend the most appropriate training package.
This assessment gives both of us a clear starting point before training begins.
