Meet the Trainer

Meet Your Dog Trainer in Midleton, Cork
Hi, I'm Lee.
Thanks for taking the time to visit my website.
For over 10 years, I've been helping owners across Cork train happier, calmer and better-behaved dogs.
During that time, I've worked with thousands of dogs.
Some arrived as young puppies. Some were adolescent dogs that had suddenly stopped listening. Others came with lead pulling, barking, jumping up, reactivity or behaviours that had become stressful at home.
Every dog was different.
That's why I don't believe in having lots of different training methods.
I use one simple, structured training system.
It's the same system I use every day because it works.
I Don't Just Train Dogs. I Teach Owners.
One of the biggest misconceptions about dog training is that the trainer trains the dog.
They don't.
The trainer teaches the owner.
Your dog might spend an hour with me each week.
They spend the other 167 hours with you.
That's where real training happens.
My job is to show you exactly what to do, when to do it and why you're doing it, so you can continue making progress long after our lessons have finished.
That's why my clients don't just leave with a better-behaved dog.
They leave with the confidence to keep improving.
My Approach to Dog Training
Over the years, I've seen one problem again and again.
Owners are confused.
Watch five dog trainers online and you'll probably hear five different opinions.
That leaves owners wondering who's right.
Dogs don't need complicated training.
They need clear communication.
That's why my training always starts by building strong foundations before adding distractions.
I call this the Green Zone.
Once your dog understands what's expected, we gradually make training more challenging until those behaviours become reliable in everyday life.
No shortcuts.
No guesswork.
Just a simple system that makes sense.
Experience & Qualifications
Experience matters.
So does continuing to learn.
Dog training never stands still, and neither do I.
Alongside working with dogs every day, I continue to study the latest research into dog behaviour, learning theory, welfare and canine development to ensure my clients receive practical, modern and effective training.

Is My Training Right For You?
If you're looking for someone to wave a magic wand and "fix" your dog, I'm probably not the right trainer.
If you're willing to learn, be consistent and trust the process, I'll give you everything you need to succeed.
Whether you have a puppy, an adolescent, an adult dog or you're struggling with unwanted behaviours, my goal is always the same:
To help you build the dog you want while giving you the knowledge and confidence to continue training for life.
Ready to Get Started?
Every dog is different, which is why every training journey starts with an assessment.
During your assessment we'll discuss your dog's history, behaviour, your goals and any challenges you're facing before putting together a clear training plan tailored to you and your dog.
I look forward to meeting you both.
